My current projects include Yahoo! mobile web suite (also called "Beta Frontpage" or "Y!Go Web"). I took a major role as a lead mobile web developer for all Y!Mobile WAP products since Q1 07. (Actualy, I've been an one and only front-end web dev for the entire global team... Life is hard.)

Yahoo! Beta for iPhone and Other high-end smart phonesThis product was originally created as for CES 2008 as a showcase product for Appe iPhone, Nokia's N-Series and some Windows Mobile phones, and also dubbed as "Yahoo! Go Web", or "Beta Frontpage" by media.My role was writing all presentation layer (markup and CSS) and logic includes PHP rendering logic that works with "Blueprint" XML (open to the 3rd parties) parser. This is a still on-going project, and will be re-born as an entire suite with onePlace, oneConnect, as well as oneSearch. |

Yahoo! Beta for WAP2.0 DevicesThis product is the basically same as the above, but for more common WAP2.0 browsers, to demo for Mobile World Congress 2008.I have added another renderer, to make the presentation work for most of XHTML-browsers such as Blackerry, Razr, Netfront (Sony Ericsson etc.) and so on. This is also still on-going project, and my current role includes fixing all issue to support more devices. |
